Twig

The Twig is where your keiki's journey begins. A kid-friendly longboard designed to spark joy, build confidence, and grow with them as they progress.

It's inspired by the first board Ben Aipa shaped for his two year old son Duke back in 1977, a hand crafted 6'2" mini tanker, as Ben called it. The Twig is a modern take on that original act of love and an introduction to a lifetime of surfing. A scaled-down log for keiki who are ready to paddle out on their own. Ideal for kids 4 to 8 years old.

Stable, floaty, and super fun, the Twig makes it easy for young surfers to stand up, glide, and start working on basic turns. From Waikiki rollers to summer beach break peelers, this board catches waves early and rides them all the way to shore with a huge smile attached.

You can surf it as a single fin, though we encourage parents to order the Twig as a twin plus trailer. The extra versatility helps kids progress faster.
